Watch inspirational performances by outstanding young performers from the Royal College of Music whilst enjoying a hot drink and a pastry in the Hall’s Elgar Room.
Flora Clapham has studied with Ani Schnarch at the Royal College of Music Junior Department (RCMJD) since 2019. At RCMJD she has been awarded 1st prize in both the Junior and Intermediate Recital Competitions as well as giving recitals and enjoying success in the Gordon Turner Competition. She is particularly interested in the works of contemporary composers such as Roxanna Panufnik and Lera Auerbach.
Flora also performs regularly with her piano trio and string quartet, and is fond of Early Music, having recently led the orchestra in a production of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas at the RCM. Flora has performed in masterclasses with prestigious performers and professors such as Tasmin Little, Itzhak Rashkovsky and Felix Andrievsky, and is a student of the New Virtuosi International Mastercourse and the Bowdoin International Music Festival in Maine, USA.
